Dr. Owan graduated from City University of New York in 1980 with a degree in Organizational Behavior and an MBA from the Hofstra University School of Business Management in 1982.
In 1998 he earned a double postgraduate studies degree in Energy Management and Policy at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and was awarded MSc and PhD respectively.
He was appointed by the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo as the pioneer Chairman and CEO of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission in 2005.
Prior to his engagement at NERC, he was the Director of Regulatory and External Affairs for Washington Gas Energy services, Inc., a retail competitive marketer of retail electricity

Longe graduated from University of Benin with a First class Honors in Civil Engineering in 1997 and was valedictorian. His first post graduate degree is a Masters in Environmental Engineering (2004), from the University of Lagos. He has a Masters in Business Administration also from University of Benin (2005). After fourteen years in the private sector at AES Nigeria Barge Operations Limited, the first privately owned independent power plant in Nigeria, Longe joined the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading PLC (NBET) team as the Head, Power Procurement and Power Contracts in June 2012.
At AES, which has an installed capacity of 290MW and over $65 million annual revenue, Longe worked in several capacities and had a variety of roles with increasing seniorities, from hands on turbine assets maintenance and optimization; technical and commercial due diligence, operational and technical management, business development and contract negotiations and management. In his present capacity at NBET, he has been involved in multiple negotiations: Power Purchase Agreements, Put Call Options Agreements (PCOA), and Partial Risk Guarantees (PRG). He is also responsible for ensuring proper management of all electricity contracts entered between NBET and its counterparties such as the successor Generation (GenCos) and Distribution Companies (DisCos); the Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and the brown field legacy GenCos.
He is a member of the Transitional Steering Group (TSG), a body set up by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) responsible for ensuring the commencement of the Transitional Electricity Market (TEM) in Nigeria.

David is Founder and CEO of GasInvest Limited. He has over 23-years industry experience spanning both the private and public sector. He was the Group Executive Director – Gas & Power, at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) between 2011-2015. Previously, David also worked as Petroleum Engineer with Shell International Petroleum Company (Netherlands, Scotland & Nigeria) and in Strategy consulting with Accenture UK, in London. He also served as Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Petroleum and was pioneer Managing Director of the Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria.
David has driven efforts in developing Nigeria’s gas policy and its implementation. He was architect of the Nigerian Gas masterplan and led its implementation, including pricing methodologies, market and infrastructure development. Whilst in NNPC, he also had the responsibility to drive NNPC’s gas and power agenda, in terms of market development and capture. He held diverse Board Positions including Chairman of the West African Gas Pipeline Company, Board member of the Brass LNG company, Chairman of the Nigerian Shipping and Manning Company (subsidiary of NLNG). David has significant knowledge and experience of the gas industry.
David holds a First Class BSc (Mech Eng.) from the University of Lagos, PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University, UK and an MBA from University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

An experienced professional in the Oil & Gas and Energy industries, Frank Edozie is an Electrical and Electronics engineer. He worked with Shell in various capacities and had a variety of assignments in Shell’s upstream locations around the world. Frank was the General Manager, Commercial at the Olokola Liquefied Natural Gas (OKLNG) Project. He was in the team that in 2013 developed the 30-year National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan for Nigeria. From 2013 to 2015, Frank was the Senior Advisor on Gas to the Minister of Power. Frank is currently the Senior Power Consultant at the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility.
Dikko Atanu leads the growth strategy of Neoleum, a midstream infrastructure development and gas commercialization platform. Neoleum focuses on developing gas rich assets, eradicating gas flares and monetizing stranded gas, by providing modular gas processing solutions, liquefaction, regasification and storage units for power generation and industrial applications across West Africa.
Dikko started his international career at the trading division of Credit Suisse, whilst his energy career started at Global Energy, where he was involved in taking the first indigenous owned and operated 120MMscfd gas processing plant in Africa to First Gas. He was previously the Head of Gas and Business Development at Afren, and was instrumental in key acquisitions and divestments, gas strategy for its assets, as well as various funding initiatives.

Ezekiel Adebayo Adesina is a chemical engineer by profession. He is a staff of Nigeria LNG Limited where he started his career as a process/ project engineer and he worked in various capacities as a key member of Nigeria LNG project team in the actualization of the Train 1-6, Africa biggest investment of about $12 billion. He was given the NLNG Managing Director Project Commendation in recognition of outstanding project participation
performance for Train 4 &5 and NLNG GM Human Resources Project Commendation in recognition of his project
participation performance in Train 6. During Train 6 project activities, he was sent on project assignment with Shell Global Solution (2002-2003) for the Train 6 BOD and BDP activities where he prepared the Nigeria LNG Gas Supply data book Train 6 inclusive

Dr. Yakie Ogon is a passionate, dedicated, and hardworking employee of Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) Limited. He has worked as Division Manager, Corporate Public Affairs, and Division Manager, Human Resources in NAOC, before he was seconded in January 2016 to NLNG as the Corporate Strategy and Planning Manager. Prior to his current assignment, he was an expatriate, as a Senior Human Resources (HR) Advisor, in Eni (the parent company of NAOC), Milan, Italy. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education (with bias in Accountancy) in the year 1989 (with 2nd Class Upper Division), coming out with the best result in the Accountancy option, and the 2nd best graduating student in the faculty of Technical and Science Education of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He equally has Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree in Banking and Finance, as well as a Ph.D degree in Business Policy (Strategic Management). Dr. Yakie Ogon is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), as well as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI). He also holds the highest certification for HR practice in the US - SPHR and SHRM-SCP - after coming out with distinction in the qualifying exams.
